Raetihi Lodge has partnered services with two fantastic local companies to offer a selection of Day Tours departing and returning to Raetihi Lodge. Spend the day exploring the wider Marlborough area, then return to relax in your room, or on your deck, before dining with us on the waterfront.
Whether you’re wanting to visit some of Marlborough’s finest Vineyards and do some wine tasting, or take a Scenic Seafood Cruise, or sample the flavour of life in the Outer Sounds aboard the Pelorus Mail Boat, we can make it happen with a day tour from Raetihi. Then return to relax in your room, or on your deck, before dining with us on the waterfront.

PELORUS MAIL BOAT CRUISES

Join one of the last remaining 'Genuine' Mail Boats left in the world, still delivering mail and groceries as it has been for almost a century. Whilst we are delivering and meeting locals you'll visit isolated homesteads nestled in secluded bays, view mussel farms and see why Pelorus Sound is the mussel capital of the world. The tour starts from the Raetihi Lodge jetty at 10.30am and returns about 3.45pm.

The Marlborough Icons Tour is a full-day tour (7-8 hours) exploring the very best of Marlborough in one day.
- A Marlborough wine tour in the morning followed by a delicious Marlborough Sounds waterfront lunch (at your own cost), then a relaxing seafood cruise for the afternoon, accompanied by fresh local seafood and Sauvignon Blanc as you cruise the stunning Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand.
