Water transfers are available from Havelock (30 mins); Te Mahia (10 mins) and Picton (approx 45 mins). We recommend the following companies:

Kenepuru Water Taxi- are available 7 days a week, and don't run to a time-table, so you are able to travel when it suits you. They provide water transport for people who are staying at Raetihi Lodge and other destinations within the Kenepuru Sound
Marlborough Travel- Marlborough Travel is a family owned tourism company that has operated scenic cruises in the Marlborough Sounds for over twenty years. We highly recomend the Greenshell Mussel Cruise take in the natural beauty of this tranquil environment, learn about the history of the Marlborough Sounds and the pioneering families who have settled here. Visit a Greenshell Mussel farm where your launch captain will explain how and why this delicacy grows so well in the Marlborough Sounds. While at the mussel farm we serve freshly steamed mussels with a glass of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, a wonderful wine and food match in a beautiful part of Marlborough, after this truely unique experience you will delivered right to the door step at Raetihi Lodge
By Private Boat - Use our Mooring
We have three registered moorings for guests arriving in their own boat either for Lodge accommodation or for diners wishing to use our licensed restaurant and bar facilities. Make your own way through the Marlborough Sounds into the Kenepuru Sound.
By Air
A quick and easy option to get to Raetihi Lodge - we recommend the following companies:Soundsair - flying with Soundsair from Wellington via Picton to Nopera (our local airfield), with a flight time of approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour

Driving from Picton or Blenheim generally takes 3 hours (2.5 hrs from Havelock). Water transfer is also available from Te Mahia along the Kenepuru Sound Road, (1.5 hours from Blenheim and Picton) where a car park is available to leave your vehicle whilst you stay at Raetihi
